Helping teachers and leaders implement high-quality instructional materials is vital to giving our students the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

The Dana Center has been selected as a professional learning partner by Louisiana-based Rivet Education, a review site for high-quality professional learning services for K–12 educators. Their new Professional Learning Partner Guide features just 16 organizations that met Rivet Education’s standard for providing rigorous expertise and measurable results in delivering professional learning for K–12 educators.

“The Dana Center is thrilled to be recognized by Rivet Education as a world-class professional learning provider in mathematics and science education,” said Doug Sovde, Dana Center director of K–12 education strategy, policy, and services. “Rivet Education’s rigorous review process shows that the Dana Center’s research-based professional services in mathematics and science provide the kind of relevant and high-quality learning that educators respect.”

The Dana Center model supports educators in refining their practice through ongoing structured collaboration among teachers in the school system.

“Educators have the desire and commitment to grow professionally, and we help create the tools and structures that support their growth,” said Katey Arrington, Dana Center manager of K–12 services. “Our team of professional learning facilitators works closely with schools, districts, and systems to understand their unique needs as we develop and facilitate targeted learning, tools, and support.”

The Dana Center is experienced in delivering virtual professional learning, both synchronously and asynchronously.
