Dana Center Role
Courtney creates and manages the day-to-day details of complex project timelines for the K–12 Education Strategy, Policy, and Services team. She monitors the handoff of materials between Dana Center groups and reviews materials for completeness. To ensure that a project stays on track, Courtney communicates progress and challenges to project leads and stakeholders. In addition, she coordinates and communicates with clients and internal staff regarding logistics of external events, including securing event locations, arranging catering, and creating and managing registration systems.
Before Joining the Dana Center
Courtney brings extensive project management experience to the Dana Center after working more than 10 years for University Housing and Dining at The University of Texas at Austin. She held positions in multiple areas, including conferences, communications, events, occupancy management, and residence life. Courtney has experience in small- and large-scale project planning, event management, and process and procedure creation and improvement.
