Dana Center Role
Alison coordinates outreach and marketing of the Center’s programs, products, and services, focusing on enhancing and optimizing the visibility of the Center, its directors, and the K–12 team. She oversees the production and direction of the Dana Center Blog and guides the communications priorities for Inside Mathematics, a professional resource for educators passionate about improving students’ math learning and performance, and for MathCuts, quick engaging math strategies for classroom teachers. Alison coordinates the production and dissemination of content tailored for the Center’s internal and external audiences via print and digital communications vehicles.
Before Joining the Dana Center
Alison joins the Center’s resource development team with over 10 years of communications and marketing experience. Previously, she was a communications coordinator for the Division of Housing and Food Service at The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that position, she served as the marketing director for BookPeople, the largest independent bookstore in Texas.
