What are you reading recently that you would like to recommend: Heritage Knowledge in the Curriculum: Retrieving an African Episteme by Joyce E. King and Ellen E. Swartz - this book articulates the richness of intergenerational cultural knowledge and how centering African and Black epistemologies in the classroom can allow teachers to demonstrate the intellectual richness of other cultural ways of knowing besides the dominant white paradigm.
