Dana Center Role
Sherri’s work focuses on mathematics assessment. She authors and manages content development for Agile Mind course programs in middle school mathematics. Sherri supervises authoring of assessment items for online assessment service. In addition, she provides support for online course content development and creates and delivers professional development around assessment.
Before Joining the Dana Center
As a mathematics instructional coach in the Austin Independent School District, Sherri engaged in the coaching cycle through coteaching, model teaching, observations, and conferences with teachers. She conducted professional development for teachers in grades 6–8.
Prior to her stint at AISD, Sherri worked at the Dana Center. In addition to her assessment focus, she authored content for middle school mathematics online courses.
