Dana Center Role
Richard leads the business affairs and operational functions of the Center, including accounting, administration, communications and publishing, finance, human resources, and informational technology. He works closely with the directors and managers to support the successful outcomes of the Center’s programmatic work.
Before Joining the Dana Center
Richard has worked for The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas System for more than 25 years in various functions.
Before joining the Center, Richard was the assistant director for accounting and audit services at UT System’s Office of Facilities Planning and Construction. In this role, he worked with the 15 UT campuses’ $4 billion capital improvement program to review accounting and financing of all major construction projects and auditing of contractors performing the work on these projects. Previous to the UT System, Richard worked at UT Austin in the Office of Accounting preparing and reviewing the annual financial statements.
