How can I purchase products from the Dana Center's web catalog?
To purchase products, please follow these steps:
- Visit the Catalog
- Select Your Product:
- Navigate to the individual product page.
- Click the âPurchase [Product Name]â button.
- Complete the Purchase Order Form:
- Fill out all required fields (marked with a red asterisk *).
- Upload your Tax Exempt Form.
- Upload your Purchase Order (PO) if available.
- If you need a quote, mention it in the Additional Comments section.
- Quotes will include shipping costs and applicable sales tax.
Submit the Form.
Order Processing:
- A Dana Center staff member will respond within 3 business days.
Credit Card Orders: Processed via Authorize.net once payment is received.
Purchase Orders:
- Processed upon receipt of the PO.
- An invoice will be emailed to the billing email address listed on the PO.
Mail or Fax Orders: Processed upon receipt.
Shipping Method:
All orders are shipped via FedEx Ground.
Payment Methods:
- Credit Card: Paid through Authorize.net. An invoice will be emailed including shipping and sales tax (if applicable).
- Check: Payable to The University of Texas and mailed to:

Who do I make the purchase order/check payable to?
All purchase orders and checks should be made payable to The University of Texas at Austin.

What are your shipping and handling charges?
Our shipping and handling charges are calculated by total dollar amount of the order:

$0.01 to $50.00 $8.50
$50.01 to $100.00 $13.50
$100.01 to $250.00 $19.50
over $250.00 8% of order total
Shipping rates are for United States destinations only. For international rates, please e-mail dana-txshop@utlists.utexas.edu for a shipping estimate.

Do you charge sales tax?
Orders shipped within Texas are subject to a sales tax of 8.25%, excluding orders for tax-exempt customers. If you are a tax-exempt customer, please fill in your district name or your 9-digit IRS employer identification number at checkout.

How can I get a "sole source distributor" letter when purchasing your products?
We have a standard letter that lists the products for which we are the sole source. Download the sole source letter.

What is the refund policy?
All sales are final. No refunds or returns are allowed.

I'm not able to find a specific title that you used to sell. Do you still have copies available?
Some of our titles have been discontinued, but we may still be able to print it on demand for you. Please contact our office.
