DANA CENTER MATHEMATICS PATHWAYS IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE

The second edition guide (2014) is designed for colleges interested in improving student success and completion based on the Dana Center Mathematics Pathways Dana Center Mathematics Pathways model. The step-by-step guide is structured to reflect the three phases of the model: organizing for change, planning for change, and preparing for implementation. Each phase includes action items, key activities, and recommendations for who should carry out those activities.

The guide has information specific to the Dana Center Mathematics Pathways in Texas, but the general information, processes outlined, and examples from the field are applicable to all colleges and can be extended to broader guidance for different types of systemic change initiatives.

To learn more about the guide and collateral materials available for free download, please visit the implementation guide page.

Algebra Formative Assessments Through the College and Career Readiness

The Dana Center developed this standards-aligned assessment series for mathematics teachers and leaders. We have grouped 121 tasks, aligned to the College and Career Readiness Standards for Mathematics, into four thematically related booklets.

Each book provides teachers with alignment tables to help with selecting tasks and planning their use in the classroom. Each task is presented with the relevant College and Career Readiness Standards for Mathematics alignment and with Teacher Notes that include guiding questions, model solutions, and extension questions. Selected tasks also include sample student work.
