Common Core State Standards for Mathematics Charts
Each of these full-color, poster-sized charts displays the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. The kindergarten-grade 8 chart displays the elementary and middle school standards organized by grade level and by domain.
The grades 6-high school chart displays the middle school standards by grade level and domain; the high school standards are organized by conceptual categories and aligned with middle school domains to accentuate the natural connections to the middle school content.
Algebra Formative Assessments Through the Common Core
The Dana Center developed this standards-aligned assessment series for mathematics teachers and leaders. We have grouped 121 tasks, aligned to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, into four thematically related booklets.
Each book provides teachers with alignment tables to help with selecting tasks and planning their use in the classroom. Each task is presented with the relevant Common Core State Standards for Mathematics alignment and with Teacher Notes that include guiding questions, model solutions, and extension questions. Selected tasks also include sample student work.
STAAR Biology: Assessment Activities for the Texas Readiness Standards
This full-color book, modeled on our earlier publication Essential Science Concepts for Exit-Level TAKS (ESCET), provides 18 hands-on activities designed to reinforce students’ knowledge of the biology concepts assessed on the STAAR Biology end-of-course exam.
Each of the activities is aligned with specific TEKS student expectations, including scientific processes and science concepts. The module focuses on the readiness standards and covers all five biology EOC reporting categories.
