Dana Center's Annual Mathematics and Science Higher Education Conference (October Conference)
October 18-20, 2007
The 2007 conference, "Connecting Current Issues in Mathematics and Science Education," promoted thinking about recent state and national legislation and its implications, essential content knowledge for prospective teachers, STEM efforts in Texas, vertical alignment, and other current issues. Sessions focused on needs of faculty interested in the preparation and support of either preservice or inservice teachers, and faculty who teach mathematics or science courses, especially for incoming college students.
