Dana Center Role

Erica oversees the application of project management strategies of Dana Center resources by working with staff and senior leadership to develop goals, project requirements, budgets, and deadlines. An experienced team leader with expertise in prioritizing work, strategizing workflows to improve efficiencies, and managing team members to achieve operational goals. Her projects include the execution and management of various higher education initiatives such as the Dana Center Mathematics Pathways (formerly New Mathways Project) and the implementation of Smartsheet and other project management tools across the Center.

Erica has over 15 years of experience in the higher education field with a proven record managing day-to-day operations, cultivating cross-functional collaboration, and implementing processes and tools to improve organizational effectiveness and compliance.  

Before Joining the Dana Center

Erica worked at the Brooklyn College library and the Dean’s Office of Student Affairs at New York University in roles that supported the academic success of students. Previously at an immigration law firm, she interviewed clients, catalogued information, and researched human rights conditions as part of the case submission of political asylum and violence-against-women legal cases.
