Dana Center Role
Carrie provides web design, development, and maintenance to several core family websites at the Dana Center. With a strong focus on user experience and information architecture, her goal is to continuously improve the web presence of the Center by offering innovative solutions that highlight modern-day design standards.
Before Joining the Dana Center
Prior to her current role, Carrie was a senior web development specialist at Austin Community College (ACC). She spent nine years designing and developing websites, blog communities, and other digital materials for various departments within the multicampus college system. Throughout her career at ACC, she learned the important nuances of designing for higher education, which include focal point audiences, clear user directives, and accessibility practices.
