Retreat goals:

  • Provide opportunities for network members to learn about current Common Core State Standards (CCSS) efforts from experts and select districts to inform their work on the CCSS.
  • Learn about The Aspen Institute/Dana Center tools and processes used in pilot districts to inform and strengthen the implementation of the CCSS.
  • Deepen participants' thinking about PARCC and SBAC opportunities.
  • Engage in district team action planning to ensure that strategic planning guides the professional development and implementation of the CCSS.
  • Build content networks that support one another in the implementation of the CCSS.
