New Student Residency Questionnaire (SRQ)

THEO released a new Student Residency Questionnaire (SRQ) on April 27, 2009, to help school districts and charter schools identify students in homeless situations within their boundaries. This new version also includes updates to living situations that will help track the reasons students and families become homeless, including specific natural disasters. This document includes the Spanish translation of the questionnaire, and a set of instructions for implementing the SRQ. Click on the link above to acess the new SRQ.

August 29, 2008: TEXSHEP and TXMVBI Fall Training Session

Good morning, everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed a peaceful summer and are refreshed and ready to see all the lovely smiles of your colleagues and students. It will be great to see all of you again September 24–26 for our Fall Conference in Dallas. I've attached the informational documents you will need to 1) register for the hotel and 2) register for the conference. Please note that the hotel will hold the state rate only until Wednesday, September 10, 2008, so you may wish to begin that process immediately if you know your internal systems tend to run slow.

Download the conference and registration information below. If you have any questions or need anything, don't hesitate to be in touch—it will be nice to hear from you! Take care, and I hope that the year starts off wonderfully!
