The checklist is designed for ease of use and includes links to sample resources.
THEO has released a new Student Residency Questionnaire (SRQ) to help school districts and charter schools identify students in homeless situations within their boundaries. This new version also includes updates to living situations that will help track the reasons students and families become homeless, including specific natural disasters. This document includes the Spanish translation of the questionnaire, and a set of instructions for implementing the SRQ. Click on the link above to acess the new SRQ.
The Fact Sheets have been updated as of October 2009, with many revisions and some additions, including a new student residency questionnaire, homeless student reporting information, financial aid access for higher education, and many support documents on the impacts of the housing crisis and the economic downturn on homelessness.
