Stephen Spring

Senior Program Coordinator

Stephen Spring is a senior program coordinator with the Dana Center's online services team, providing support for Agile Mind, an online course support system for high school mathematics courses.

Before joining the Dana Center in 2009, Mr. Spring served in public education for 20 years at the state, regional, district, and campus levels. He taught middle and high school mathematics in Washington, DC, San Francisco, and Maine and served as a mathematics specialist and instructional coach in Austin. Mr. Spring was also involved with school change efforts through employment with the Center for Collaborative Education in Boston and the Great Maine Schools Project in Portland and as an elected official on Portland's School Board. He is also a national facilitator with School Reform Initiative, Inc.

Mr. Spring holds a B.S. in secondary education, specializing in mathematics, from the University of Maine in Orono and an M.A. in educational leadership from the University of Southern Maine.
