Patrick Lopez

Senior Program Coordinator

Patrick Lopez is a Senior Program Coordinator for the Texas Homeless Education Office (THEO). Since 1992 he has been at THEO, working to improve the education of children and youth experiencing homelessness.

Prior to his position at THEO, he was at the Texas Education Agency's Dropout Information Clearinghouse. His professional interests include the relationships between poverty and education; the education of children and youth experiencing homelessness; and reading acquisition.

He holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and is currently pursuing a Masters of Education Degree from Southwest Texas State University.
