Omar Barnhart

Senior Program Coordinator

Omar Barnhart serves as a senior program coordinator on the Dana Center professional development team. He creates and delivers professional development for K–12 educators and administrators in Texas and beyond.

Omar brings to the Dana Center 10 years of experience in public education. He has worked as an elementary and middle school teacher, a teacher leader, and, most recently, as an elementary school administrator.

Omar holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from The University of
Texas–Pan American and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Texas State University.
