Lisa Brown

Senior Program Coordinator

Lisa Brown is a senior program coordinator with the Dana Center's online services team. Her work focuses on content development for course support systems for middle and high school mathematics. She is also project manager and a principal author for the Academic Youth Development program, an intervention designed to transform achievement by reshaping students' academic identities and enhancing classroom engagement.

Ms. Brown has extensive experience in educator professional development and as a classroom teacher of secondary mathematics. Her prior work includes leadership at the campus and district levels and professional development of educators at the state and national levels.

Ms. Brown holds a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in mathematics and a master of arts in curriculum and instruction from The University of Texas at Austin.
