Dr. Rodriguez is the director of District Services, responsible for supervising and directing the Dana Center’s mathematics education and science education teams, the Texas Homeless Education Office, and A Community for Education (ACE).
Dr. Rodriguez has over twenty years of experience in education. She has worked in school districts of all sizes, from small and rural to large and urban, and has served these districts in a number of capacities, including as a bilingual and regular classroom teacher, federal programs director, teaching facilitator, academic programs supervisor, curriculum director, assistant superintendent of personnel and instruction, and superintendent of schools.
Dr. Rodriguez also worked for the Stupski Foundation, where she conducted organizational assessments that examined urban school districts in eleven states in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, curriculum and teaching, stakeholder engagement, stellar people, processes, and accountability.
Most recently, Dr. Rodriguez worked for San Francisco-based Partners in Education, serving as district partnership director for the San Jose Unified School District.
Dr. Rodriguez has a master’s degree in School Administration from Sul Ross State University and a doctorate in Educational Administration with an emphasis on policy and planning from The University of Texas at Austin.
