Dr. Vicky Dill, senior program coordinator for the Texas Homeless Education Office, a program of the Charles A. Dana Center, was interviewed in EducationNews.org about the barriers to education that homeless students face. An estimated 1.5 million students in the United States are homeless, and, with the recession, that number is growing.
