Cullinane/Treisman paper on the Statway published in proceedings of Developmental Education Conference

A status report on the Statway initiative, cowritten by Dana Center director Treisman and research scientist Jenna Cullinane, was published in the proceedings of the National Center for Postsecondary Education’s Developmental Education Conference, held September 23–24 at Columbia University in New York. The paper, “Improving Developmental Mathematics Education in Community Colleges: A Prospectus and Early Status Report on the Statway Initiative” discusses the problems of developmental mathematics education in community colleges and how the Statway course may solve some of these problems.
