Pigs, parrots, and purple purses: ACEE staff’s favorite read-aloud books for kids and parents featured on UT web site’s annual summer reading list

Every summer, the home page of the University of Texas at Austin website features a summer reading list chosen by faculty and staff. This year, the staff members of Americorps for Community Engagement and Education were asked to recommend their favorite books for parents to read aloud to their children. Learn about the tales of hare-eating little sisters, greedy Amazonian parrots, independent young frogs, and other fascinating creatures that are sure to enchant children and parents alike.
