Rarely Easy, Always Rewarding

January 17, 2018|By Dana Center Communications

If you ask the team at the Dana Center why they work here, you’re basically guaranteed to get one of these two responses:

a) I believe that the work we do is making a difference in the lives of students.
b) I want to help solve complex problems in our education systems.

Of course, these answers are two sides of the same coin. And our colleagues generally follow up one answer with the other. At the Dana Center, we’re working at all levels of the system—from student-focused classroom resources and educator professional learning services, to local and regional consortiums of districts, to policy initiatives at the state and regional levels—toward the goal of ensuring all students are prepared for success in college and career.

The work is rarely easy, but it is always rewarding. And we want to share more of our daily work with you.

So, with this post, we are excited to announce the launch of the Dana Center Blog. Here, you’ll hear from our team a few times a month as we explore emerging research, dig into big questions, and reflect on progress toward our vision. We look forward to engaging in this conversation with you.
