UMLN February 2013 Retreat

Held in Austin, Texas, February 11 to 13, this retreat provided a valuable opportunity for our members to

  • Learn from each other about implementation of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and reflect on progress to date.
  • Engage in district planning to ensure that strategic planning guides the professional development for—and the implementation of—the CCSSM.
  • Engage participants in thinking about changing students’ perceptions of themselves as learners and the effects such a change can have on school culture.
