Instructional leadership strand

The instructional leadership team, a group of key teacher-leaders (frequently, leaders who coach teachers) will engage in a yearlong study of instructional leadership.

Through a series of sessions that connect multiple content emphases—including adult learning theory, leadership practices, facilitation skills, and theoretical frames for instructional leadership—members of this team will develop and refine the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate the system-wide implementation of your chosen education standards. (Four 2-day sessions for a total of 8 days for a cohort of up to 30 participants)

As the instructional leadership team begins to facilitate Dana Center protocols, they will have the support of technical assistance from Dana Center staff throughout. (Four days a year over two years, for a total of 8 days)
