Pam Walker

Senior Program Coordinator

Pam Walker is a senior program coordinator with the Dana Center's online services team, which provides ongoing support of Agile Mind, an online service for both teachers and students. She also works as part of the mathematics education team and the Texas Center for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (TC-STEM) project. In addition, she delivers standards-based technical assistance for educators as part of the Dana Center's Partnership for High Achievement, designed to help school districts and campuses improve the performance of all their students.

Prior to joining the Dana Center, Ms. Walker's work included leadership at the state, district, and campus levels. She received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching while a classroom teacher of secondary mathematics. A past-president of the Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Ms. Walker has extensive experience in educator professional development and served as Program Co-Chair for the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (CAMT). As a district PK-12 mathematics specialist, she was instrumental in developing curriculum and assessments.

Ms. Walker holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Political Science and an M.S. in Statistics from Stephen F. Austin State University.
