Linda Shaub
Senior Program Coordinator
Linda Shaub serves as a senior program coordinator for the mathematics education team.
Before joining the Dana Center, Ms. Shaub was a middle school and high school teacher for eighteen years. She has also served as a mathematics specialist for the Region XIII Education Service Center in Austin and a mentor for new teachers in UTeach Dell Center for New Teacher Success at the University of Texas , as well as a TEXTEAMS trainer, conference coordinator, and co-author of online courses. She has been president of the Austin Area Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Vice-President, Secondary, of the Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Texas Association of Mathematics Supervisors.Ms. Shaub has a BS in mathematics from the University of Houston, a K-12 mathematics teacher certification from the University of California at Irvine, and ESL certification. She is currently working on a Ph.D. in mathematics education at The University of Texas at Austin.
