Karen Sisco Snow is a senior program coordinator for the mathematics education team. She develops and delivers standards-based technical assistance for educators throughout Texas as part of the Dana Center's Partnership for High Achievement and the Texas High School Project's Texas Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (T-STEM) project, a collaboration between the Texas Education Agency and The Gates Foundation.
Mrs. Snow has extensive experience in educator professional development, including leadership at the campus and district levels and professional development of educators at the state level. She has also been a key participant in several Dana Center projects, including development of T-STEM institutes for Algebra I and high school professional development institutes.
Mrs. Snow spent 17 years teaching Algebra I through calculus at several school districts across Texas. Prior to joining the Dana Center, she served as a district curriculum specialist in a large urban school district.
Mrs. Snow holds a B.S. in mathematics from East Central Oklahoma State University and certification in secondary mathematics and computer science from the State of Texas.
