Participating teams will learn how to increase the effectiveness of their
school's instructional program. During this professional development series,
school teams will work with a Dana Center team to implement some key
elements of school redesign for improvement.
In this session, you will:
- Work as a campus team for about 25% of the time on strategies to
strengthen the effectiveness of your instructional program.
- Learn problem-solving skills and strategies to inform your decisionmaking
processes (campus leaders).
- Draw on and implement lessons from the Dana Center’s resources for
K-12 mathematics (mathematics teachers) and K-12 science (science teachers).
- Work with other content teachers while learning how to deliver
effective content that accelerates student interest and achievement
(mathematics and science teachers).
