This leadership workshop series draws on research and our 15-plus years of experience in strengthening teaching and learning for all students. You will learn problem-solving skills and strategies to inform your decision-making processes around state accountability, AYP, and RtI.

The series delivers a technical support program in all content areas, with a special focus on mathematics and science. The program is designed to build capacity among education leaders who are working to increase your system’s ability not only to meet AYP criteria—but to move student achievement to significantly higher levels. This session also provides tools and practices designed to strengthen the RtI process.

This technical assistance program is designed around three research-based elements for improving mathematics and science achievement:

  • Ensuring that all students have access to the same guaranteed and viable curriculum,
  • Supporting teacher and leader collaboration around the guaranteed and viable curriculum, and
  • Providing monitoring and support to help teachers teach and students learn the guaranteed and viable curriculum.
