Instructional Leadership Academy
A series of 4 two-day sessions

The strategies and tools offered in this academy are informed by theories of adult learning and are designed to build your capacity to successfully function as professional development providers, small-group facilitators, and one-on-one coaches.
In the course of this yearlong academy, you will learn how to effectively use our proven tools, strategies, and processes—including group and team development strategies, our collect, analyze, reflect, and act (CARA) school improvement process, and our unique approach to classroom walkthroughs—to collaborate with teachers to improve instruction and strengthen student achievement.
You will also learn processes for increasing the alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment by conducting a comprehensive, rigorous study of the current standards.
