Numerical Fluency (Grades 3–5)

In this session, you will examine the vertical alignment of the standards related to numerical fluency and deepen your understanding of how numerical fluency is addressed in the state standards.

In collaboration with other participants, you will learn instructional approaches and strategies for developing computational proficiency among elementary students in a way that increases students’ conceptual understanding.

You will also examine multiple computational methods and improve your knowledge of the effectiveness of these methods.
