The English language literacy tools and strategies in this session are designed for instructional leaders and educators across all content areas, kindergarten through 12th grade.

You will learn a set of integrated and systematic instructional strategies for classroom teachers to use in helping students develop English language literacy skills and accelerate language development.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn research-based strategies for providing effective instruction for English language learners across the core content areas.
  • Learn to meet the needs of students with differing levels of English language proficiency through the purposeful use of a variety of language strategies.
  • Receive a professional text that includes an array of field-tested literacy tools to support continued improvement in the achievement of English language learners.
