Elementary Measurement: Developing an Understanding for Teaching and Learning
1 day, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., fee $249
Instructional specialists and classroom teachers, kindergarten through 5th grade, will:
- Develop an understanding of the structure of the measurement TEKS, examine the vertical alignment of these TEKS, and clarify the relationship between the measurement TEKS and the TAKS.
- Refine your understanding of what is to be learned at each grade level and the connections among the grades.
- Acquire the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to improve student success in measurement.
