Connected Mathematics 2: 2008 Summer Institute
5 days, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., $750
Instructional specialists and middle school mathematics teachers will:
- Take an in-depth look at Connected Mathematics 2 for their grade levels (6th, 7th, or 8th).
- Engage in deeper development of the mathematical content of CMP2 problems, investigations, and units.
- Strengthen pedagogical knowledge, reflect on teaching and learning, and identify ways to assess students’ understanding, management, and questioning techniques.
CMP2 is a research-based middle school curriculum developed by Michigan State University and published by Pearson Prentice Hall.
