Bridges to Classroom Mathematics

Elementary Bridges to Classroom Mathematics prepares elementary schools for implementing the NCTM Standards. The Bridges materials are designed to build local school or district-level capacity. They provide complete presentation instructions and a comprehensive set of print materials that can be used successfully by local staff developers. The materials address the mathematics and pedagogy underlying several innovative programs based on the NCTM Standards.

ARC (Alternatives for Rebuilding Curricula) Center

The center is a collaboration between the Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications (COMAP) and the three National Science Foundation supported elementary mathematics curriculum projects. The Center consults with school and districts and provides information and resources to support teacher enhancement, leadership development, and public awareness of mathematics.

The Show-Me Center

The Show-Me Center, in partnership with four NSF-sponsored middle grades mathematics curriculum development Satellite Centers (University of Wisconsin, Michigan State University, University of Montana, and Educational Development Center) provides information and resources needed to support selection and implementation of standards-based middle grades mathematics curricula.

STREAM

Secondary Training and Reform Effort using Alternative Materials provides a print, video, and web-based professional development program to introduce teachers and parents to the NSF-funded high school mathematics programs.

COMPASS (Curricular Options in Mathematics Programs for All Secondary Students)

COMPASS provides information and assistance with the implementation of five comprehensive high school curriculum projects that support the Standards set forth by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).
