The 2006 conference, "Ensuring College Readiness in Mathematics and Science," offered sessions that focused on what it means to be college-ready in mathematics and science, alignment K–16 from both the national and state perspectives, teaching and assessing for student conceptual understanding, using technology in teaching and learning, and ways to integrate mathematics and science concepts in teaching.
This year's conference again included sessions for Teacher Quality grant recipients—both current and past awardees as well as those who may want to apply in the future.
