These assessment tasks can be used by teachers to provide ongoing formative assessment integrated with mathematics instruction.

The assessments reflect what all students need to know and be able to do in the given grade or course described in the College and Career Readiness Standards for Mathematics.

The tasks are focused on assessing both how well students understand the mathematics and how well they can carry out the procedures necessary to solve the task.

Thus, the tasks require more of students than simply the “right” answer, instead revealing also how students are thinking about a mathematical situation.

### Algebra Assessments Through the College and Career Readiness Standards

Includes 118 mathematical tasks grouped in nine chapters and aligned to selected Standards for Mathematical Content and Standards for Mathematical Practice from the College and Career Readiness Standards for Mathematics.

Each task includes excerpts from the relevant standards. The table of contents for this resource lists the identifying numbers of the Content and Practice standards to which each task is aligned.

Most of these tasks were excerpted or adapted from the Dana Center’s previously published *Middle School Mathematics Assessments: Proportional Reasoning* (2004),*Algebra I Assessments: Performance tasks aligned to the Texas standards* (second edition, 2009), and *Algebra II Assessments: Performance tasks aligned to the Texas standards* (second edition, 2007).

We have also developed six new tasks designed to align with the CCR. We added one new task at the end of chapter 3, two at the end of chapter 7, and three at the end of chapter 9.

These will be available on the web, on CD, and in print.

### Geometry Assessments Through the College and Career Readiness

Includes 57 mathematical tasks grouped in eight chapters and aligned to selected Standards for Mathematical Content and Standards for Mathematical Practice from the College and Career Readiness Standards for Mathematics.

Each task includes excerpts from the relevant standards. The table of contents for this resource lists the identifying numbers of the Content and Practice standards to which each task is aligned.

Most of these tasks were excerpted or adapted from the Dana Center’s previously published *Middle School Mathematics Assessments: Proportional Reasoning* (2004) and *Geometry Assessments: Performance tasks aligned to the Texas standards*(second edition, 2007).

We also developed five new tasks designed to align with CCR. We added one new task each at the end of chapters 1, 3, and 4, and two new tasks at the end of chapter 8.

These will be available on the web, on CD, and in print.

How to purchase formative assessments for Algebra I and Geometry?

Very impressed with your work. Using much of it to enhance instruction/instructional guides for A1 and Geometry so far.

Much thanks.
