AMDM Materials

The 2010 revision of the AMDM materials is complete. Thanks to the support of our materials-development funder, the Greater Texas Foundation, the 2010 implementation edition of the AMDM instructional materials are available at no charge to teachers and students in Texas. Materials are available out of state only as part of an educator's participation in the year-long professional development and support package offered through the Dana Center.

Teachers who participate in professional development will receive one complete set of binders of teacher materials and student materials (one binder for each of the seven units). In case any teachers wish to review the teacher materials before the institute, those files are also available for download. Out-of-state participants receive the right to download materials only when they register for an AMDM institute. Any out-of-state schools should email us directly at amdm@austin.utexas.edu if they wish to download materials prior to their institute.

Both semesters of materials (Units I through VII) are now posted. You are welcome to print and assemble materials in any format you find most usable.

SPECIAL NOTE: Let us reiterate the importance of Texas teachers participating in the institute and the accompanying year of follow-up and support. Both the pedagogy and the content of the course are likely to be challenging in terms of teachers' past experience. See more information about the institutes. Check this site regularly for updated openings in institutes. Email us at amdm@austin.utexas.edu to be added to our email list for continued updates and information.

To enable you to download materials, we have a short process that gathers basic information about the use of the course. This helps us with our materials development funder and in future proposals to further refine the course and develop additional supports and enhancements. To begin the process, take this survey.

Thank you for your interest in the course, and we look forward to seeing you at a summer institute.
