What is your favorite part of the ACEE experience?
My favorite part about ACEE is definitely working with the children, it is quite rewarding! Each day I walk into the classroom and I recieve a HUGE greeting from all of the students . . . "Hola, Ms. Beth!" Each student is very unique and they love the activities I bring to the classroom for them to complete. I love the atmosphere of Lucy Read. The entire faculty makes us feel very at home and are very grateful for our help in the classroom.
What have you learned from your experiences?
This experience is not only a life lesson, but will be very useful for my future. I'm currently a student at UT and I am studying elementary education. I will take away experience and knowledge that cannot be taught in any university classroom. When I have my own classroom, I will be ahead of the game! Also, this experience is helping me to practice working with coworkers. Each of us has great ideas and we work together to make them happen. Teamwork is a very useful life skill!
