Although housed at the Charles A. Dana Center at The University of Texas at Austin, ACEE is fully grant-funded and depends on the support of foundations, corporations, and individual donors. Gifts to the ACEE program directly support our work of providing high-quality, research-based bilingual early literacy tutoring and instructional support to struggling readers in four to six low-income elementary schools in Austin, Texas. For more information about the program, please contact Mary Ellen Isaacs, ACEE Program Director, at meisaacs@mail.utexas.edu, 512-232-2286.
Giving to ACEE is easy through The University of Texas at Austin's secure and automated online giving website. To donate to ACEE, access the site via the "Give Now" button above. From there, the system will walk you through several steps.
In Step 1, under "Please enter your gift information," the options "Natural Sciences, College of" and "Dana Center for Mathematics and Science Education" should already be selected.

In the comments box, indicate that this is:
A gift to ACEE

Then complete the rest of the gift form as indicated.
If you prefer to make a gift by mail or phone, please use the gift form on the Support UT site. Again, be sure to indicate that your gift is for support of the ACEE program at the Charles A. Dana Center, an organized research unit of the College of Natural Sciences.
Each year, ACEE must raise approximately $2,500 for every full-time AmeriCorps member tutor over and above funding already committed by our partners. One way you can give to ACEE is by adopting an ACEE member. In return, you will receive an annual newsletter from ACEE members that reports on the impact of the service experience on members and the children they serve. To adopt a member using the online system, follow the instructions above, except in the comments box indicate that this is "a gift to adopt a member of the ACEE program at The Charles A. Dana Center." Then make your $2,500 donation via the website.
