Susan May, M.A., Course Program Specialist, Secondary Mathematics
Dana Center Role
Susan works on secondary mathematics course programs, assessment, and professional development. In this work, she authors and manages the content development for online course programs and assessment tools in collaboration with Agile Mind, Inc. Susan is the lead program coordinator for Geometry and Calculus and supports other high school and middle school course programs as well as the Academic Youth Development program.
Before Joining the Dana Center
Susan worked as an education consultant, with much of her work focusing on the development and implementation of Agile Mind services. Before working as a consultant, she served as a research associate at the Center, working on the development of the Advanced Placement Program Mathematics Vertical Teams Toolkit. Susan was also involved in the development of several high school TEXTEAMS institutes and assessment trainings and taught high school mathematics in Austin for seven years.
