Dana Center Role

Mary designs, plans, and facilitates development experiences for teacher and leaders—both in person and virtually.
Before Joining the Dana Center
Mary most recently served as a lead instructional coach, implementation director, and content specialist at Think Through Math. She delivered on-site professional development to adult learners at the school and district levels as well as at regional centers throughout Texas and Oklahoma. In addition, Mary provided web-based training to customers nationally.
Before that, Mary was a field services mathematics specialist at Pearson School Achievement Services. She provided front-line support (e.g., professional development, model classrooms, lesson development, data dives) to math teachers implementing the comprehensive school design model at two school improvement grant high schools. Mary also helped develop professional development around using the Common Core State Standards in a math classroom.
