Erich Pelletier, M.A., Communications Coordinator, Marketing and Communications
Dana Center Role
Erich brings more than 15 years’ experience in communications strategy, content creation, and digital media production to the Center. He coordinates the production and dissemination of external communications related to the Dana Center Mathematics Pathways (formerly the New Mathways Project), an initiative to modernize entry-level college mathematics programs through working with states, universities, and colleges. Erich mobilizes and guides high-priority communication projects, including the writing, editing, and designing process for a wide range of purposes and audiences. He curates content for social media channels and general communications, ensuring message continuity, design, and tone across the portfolio. Erich works with Center staff to produce multimedia assets (e.g., video, podcasts) for a variety of projects to promote mathematics pathways.
Before Joining the Dana Center
Erich has focused on education from the perspective of digital course development and online pedagogy (for UT Austin’s Institute for Public School Initiatives, Ignite! Learning, and Stream57) as well as outreach, community engagement, and marketing (with KLRU-TV, Compass Learning, and numerous contract clients).
As interactive director at KLRU-TV, Erich headed strategy, project management, design, and execution for all digital communications activities at the PBS station, covering numerous websites and online fundraising. Before that, he served as interactive marketing manager for Compass Learning, leading management, development, implementation, content, and maintenance efforts for corporate websites, the company blog, and multiple microsites.
